Oww

Hey,

Well today I took a big fall off Chinga. We were in a canter nearly into a gallop and then I fell. All I remember from it is the cantering part and then lying on the ground with my riding friend(Jahla) rushing over asking if I was okay. But I couldn't breath. I lay there for about 30-45 seconds not being able to breath. And no I wasn't winded it was alot worse. I've been majorly winded and it was worse.

I know it wasn't Chinga's fault I know he didn't do anything wrong. I was also very happy with Chinga as as soon I fell he stopped.

ouch!! Glad to hear you're ok! It's always nice when your horse doesn't take off the second you fall isn't it? :)

Oh that's awful Chinga! Do you have any idea why you fell? Is your friend able to give any insight? Good boy for stopping.

Good boy, Chinga, for stopping. Good horse!

However....you have got my curiosty up. So you didn't get the wind knocked out of you....what is worse? Did you break bones? Let us know how you are doing, please!

Horses are God's apology for men.

Um I broke a rib, I didn't get the wind knocked out of me I just couldn't breathe at all. My friend said I looked like I had good balance before I fell. I could not sleep at all last night as I brused my back badly and my rib hurt like hell.

Usually you go to the hospital for a broken rib.

Every ride, good or bad, teaches you something new.

My grandma is a nurse so its all good! But I got back on Chinga the day after and he didn't seem so keen on being ridden I checked him over and got my instuctor to check him over as well and he isn't hurt at all. Then I got on him today and he was fine. Could he have gotten scared when I fell?
