Talking Pony Club UK

Hey , I was wondering if I anyone knew the answers to these questions about pony club? ( im talking about pony club branches )

How often are meetings?
Where are meetings held?
How often do I need to use my own horse?
Do meetings cost extra?

Any answers would be helpful

Depends entirely on what brach.

The flint and denbigh which is my local branch have a mounted meeting (called a rally) once a week at least, in summer it can be more often. They also have non mounted activities.

The other local branch (aberconwy) is pretty much non existant now and a meeting every fewm months is a bonus

This may help:

The Pony Club - Special Feature

The number of rallies vary from club to club, as do the venues, some PC's have their own sites now.

You would use your own horse at all rallies - unless they were dismounted ones.

I haven't been involved with PC for a few years now but I think we used to pay about three pounds per rally to cover the cost of the Instructors fees. I imagine that this varies hugely from club to club. Many of our rallies were completely free.
