I've done it. Last week I ponied my 8 y/o TB off of my 7 y/o TB. I would practice with your horse over the next few years using calm horses that are used to ponying.

They won't let you get on a horse on thier property unless you are 18 yrs :-/ Even if it's yours. If your just passing through it's fine, but you can't be in the gates.

I will definatly be working with Oatsy, and even Diamond. I might ask my trainer (who works there) if I can bring Cowboy to her place to pony some strangers as well, once I get a little closer to joining.
