Problem w/Splint Boot

I use splint boots on my horse. The right boot suddenly started riding up her leg about a week ago, and today when I got off I found it had twisted around on her leg. The left boot isn't a problem.

What can be done to remedy this?

How long have you had the boots for?

Is it at all possible the Velcro or whatever may be holding the boot in place needs to be replaced?

I've had this pair for maybe a year.

I'll look the boot over again tomorrow, but as far as I can tell, the Velcro's going strong and the boot is in good condition.

It could have stretched, warped, or for whatever reason isn't fitting right. What are you using the boots for and are they really necessary? And if the answer is yes, you can usually find new splint boots for pretty cheap at the TSC.
