Yes the standerbred was a well succesful race horse. She says she will be getting him back in shape but what she does with him is trail riding.
My appy has an extremly long stride for his height, and for endurence im not completly shure cause last year I didnt actually work on that, cause we were not actually going to event until my coach intruduced it to use and by that time we were only able to do one course and he never stomped always well foreward and going well so idk. Lol

And don't worry its just for fun we will be super safe cause we don't want to hurt are horses no way ! And im not shure how long it will be actually.

That is going to be fun =D I have no idea who I think will win but I would love to do that too! It would be interesting if the horses were the same breed.

There are three TB's at the yard I am at. Two are Ex Racers. Mine isn't. It would be fun to race them =P

Haha im interested to hear the outcome of this !

I have a 14.3hh pinto horse with super short legs [he wears splint boots made for a 12.2hh pony] when he was 18 I would race him against my sisters ottb mare who was 10yo. She had won some on the track mind you ! He always won because he wanted it more.

So I'm going to guess the younger horse that is in training for eventing. They will be younger and more in shape possibly.

But I've seen some really fast older horses so I could be wrong!
    Have fun :)
    Ditto.
