Riding in the rain.

Its the rainy season here and I am not going to let in block my attempts to ride 5 days a week. Do you have and safety tips as far as riding in the rain and what are the areas I should look to ride in? And any excersizes you can do to benefit his lope (or all gaits) at a walk and jog?
He tends to be pretty stable on his feet but I rather be safe then sorry oh and just keep riding and having fun! No weathers going to stop me!

If your riding on grass there's special shoes you can get put on and you screw in metal studs when your going riding, kinds like cleats for the horse. Not sure if that helps, :)

Shoes that will except studs will work and look out for the mud that's cuppy and deep that way if your guy does have shoes on, they won't get pulled off.
