    Good one, Vida! :) LOL I do that too...hoof picks are good for a lot of things. Especially using the 'brush' side to get mud off my boots. :P

    Good for you for noticing it and getting someone to help you get it removed.
    I once had a similar situation years ago where one of the horses at the bar had a piece of fencing stuck into the frog part of his hoof. It was huge and the poor guy just walked around. No one knew it was there and he didnt limp or was ever lame!

    Ugh! That sounds like it hurt! I was in the same situation though because I jumped an eight jump course three times that morning and he never did anything! Doc normally has extremely sensitive feet so I really got lucky!
