Suggestions on my rising trot

    I would say:

    1) Check your stirrup length

    2) I had a really bad leg position, because I wasn't relaxed enough, my instructor reccomeded stirrupless work, it makes you sit deeper in the saddle, and it really improved my foot position

    Oh yeah, I just thought of something:

    3) Cross up your stirrups (so your riding without them) and loosely tie your reins. Try and keep your horse on the 'track' with just your legs
