SunnyBrook Therapeutic Equestrian Program!

My stables got granted to have a therapeutic riding program! We are all so happy to have this. Susan is wokring to meet up to Cantra requirements and myself and some girls will be learning to work with the program. Susan hopes I will get my Cantra coaching so I can help too.

My question is this: Anyone worked with a therapeutic riding program?

Grooming - The fine art of brushing the dirt from one's horse and applying it to your own body.

Hey thats great! I did two weeks, yeah not long but I had to come home :(, of volunteer work at a therapeutic riding stable In Rhode Island. You will meet the most amazing kids and families :) I had so much fun, though some kids need ALOT of assistance and others not much at all, every kid has their own individual program and that can depend on the kind of day they are having too. I think it is great that your stable is starting this up!

I myself have never worked with a therapeutic program but I know the forum member skyhuntress did for quite some time. I would ask her for some info. I'm sure she can help you.
