    thank you

I would like to thank everyone on this forum for
    A) writing about what makes a good instructor so I switched stables realizing that my old one was making me feel too old and hopeless. The new stable has instructors who are positive and challenging. I have learned more in a month then 6 at the old stable.

    B) helping me realize at 48, I am not to old to get back into riding. It may take longer for me to get my balance and strength back, but I will get there. I would like to be cantering already but I know by reading other peoples suggestions, it's better to have good balance than rush.

I think it's absolutely lovely that this forum is so welcoming!
I am fairly new to the horseworld, and I agree that the advice given here is both kind, encouraging, and helpful!
What a nice change from the regular tone of the internet, especially the world of internet forums.
