Is there a difference between Haute Ecole and Alta Escuela?

They both mean High School, right?
I don't know much about dressage. :/

Pretty sure they both mean high school, in French and Spanish ...

Haute Ecole is presented by the Cadre Noir in Saumur - France

Alta Esquela is presented by the Spanish School of Riding in Jerez, Andalucia Spain (the city famous for sherry).

The horses are different - as are the uniforms.
The presentations are slightly different.
Both are well worth seeing if you have any interest in horses.

The objectives behind both exponents of High School Dressage is to preserve the national techniques, training, traditions and styles of classical riding as developed in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Little is new in riding horses - except perhaps these days the equipment in use.
