Trot Racing?

I know that there is harness racing, with the horse trotting while pulling a cart, but are there actually trot races with a rider, just like gallop racing, but at a trot?

This just popped into my head and I couldn't stop wondering about it....

Thanks!

Moni Maker! Notice how the mare smooths out once she hits racing speed.

My friends and I will do trot races with our own horses. Its a lot of fun, if you break to a canter you lose!

Hahaha youtube "single footer" or some form of single footer racking horses. Those babies can FLY.

Think of it not as a failure but as a success in how not to do it.

Don't look in a horses mouth for a gift.
