Trot Racing?

I know that there is harness racing, with the horse trotting while pulling a cart, but are there actually trot races with a rider, just like gallop racing, but at a trot?

This just popped into my head and I couldn't stop wondering about it....

Thanks!

My friends and I will do trot races with our own horses. Its a lot of fun, if you break to a canter you lose!

Its done here in the uk. My new horse was used as a trotter to race on a cart. I don't use her for that tho.
