    Yes that makes a ton of sense! I have not always had this problem because I got him when I was in fifth grade, so I was itty bitty and my legs didn't reach anywhere near his belly, but now that I've grown they are closer to the bottom now.

    I don't feel like I have any trouble cueing him, but when I trot I do feel like I have some trouble keeping my balance, although not really jumping if that makes sense.

    My position does need some work, so maybe by fixing my position that should obviously fix the problem? Any advice on doing so?
