Ugh! Why does it have to be so difficult?

I'm trying to find a riding school or boarding facility that offers lessons and every one of them is too far away! Ugh!

I really want to start taking lessons as I never learned how to properly ride a horse. Just watched how others did it. I really, really want to become an competant and confident rider.

Does anyone know of a place to take lessons in the OKC area?
I found one place and I'm calling them tomorrow to see what their stuff is all about. I'd really like some variety and that's difficult when the second closest place is almost 3 hours away! >.<
Rant over.

Another Q. Do most places require that you have your own tack or do they have tack specifically fitted to the lesson horses?

Can't help you out with barn suggestions, but lesson barns have their own tack for you to use.
