Welp i know what a crowhop feels like

Yep it happend, I was ridin the percheron today. So after class me and the my trainors waited for the other people to leave and then my trainor asked me if i wanted to lope abit before i left, and i said "HECK YA!".. So anyways I ATTEMPTED to get maxy to lope, started off horrible... she was clumsy and kept gettin on the wrong lead, THEN on the last lap i noticed somethin was funny becasue like i kept gettin tossed up by the saddle, not severely but enough to mess up my form and stuff.. It felt like the Maxys hindquaters where kind poppin up higher then usual, and i found it hard to keep my seat. Well by then the other class was already there and meetin the other horses and Alicia (one of my trainors) quietly came up to me and told me maxy was crowhoppin.. lol she told me she didnt want to say it out loud because of the other kids lol.. but it was just weird!

Cause i was wonderin why i was feelin like i was bein kinda hurled out of my seat, and you guys know when you lope if somethin is off or somethin... you just feal it..

so ya, that was my first crowhop :P it was fun lol.. course now I am gonna watch maxy abit more.

I love my horse. She is the wind beneath my wings.

eight year old me + major crowhopping = concussion

concussion = pain + puking

haha, glad you didn't get hurt... hmm, all the percherons i know don't like to canter, but that's because they were cart horses and were taught to trot really fast, but to NOT canter...

Well the simplest way to explain it is that its basically a semi-buck

I love my horse. She is the wind beneath my wings.
