I am selling our pony kitty. And a therapeutic center sent me an email offering this police/calvary saddle long with $200 I looked up a police and calvary type saddles but none look like this one. She said it was easily worth 300 and it looks to be in good condition. But what do you guys think??

Is it a brand name saddle? The padding underneith doesnt look very good & it looks like it would be rather uncomfortable for the horse as it appears as though it would "perch"on the horse's back instead of hug him nicely.
If it is a police saddle, it's not a very expensive one.

Looks like an endurance saddle.

I like it - looks good to me. I like those bumpy seats. Gives you some texture on your booty!

I say take it - check on the sizing though of course.

Could it maybe be a plantation saddle?

I'm not sure if it's a plantation saddle. I'll look into that! I know the seat size she said was 16 or 17 inch. I really don't know nothing about it. But I thought endurance saddle had more western style type stirrup fenders instead of the stirrup leathers like an english saddle

Yup smrobs! Dead on! It's a plantation saddle. Are they expensive saddles?? I looked at a custom website and depending on your preference you could ahve english or western fenders and an english or western style girth thing. So yeah it's a plantation saddle! Thank you = )

I've never seen a saddle like that before.... It kind of looks odd to me.

That one looks just like it! Except black instead of brown. And it looks a little more worn or something. And I am definitely glad that I can buy western fenders to replace those english ones! Idk if I wanna go out to buy tall boots or half chaps just yet. Lol
