Loving ponies-
Dressage because I love the challange and it is soooo graceful!

I like all types of riding because I enjoy trying new things, and love how horse riding is one sport, but there are several littler sports inside it and so many people can do it, becaue some people like jumping, others like speed and some like the gracefulness of dressage.

Showing. Not even a question. Dressage is fun and I quite like eventing, showjumping is great for a change, but showing is my favourite =)

Western. I love doing speed events, and feeling all "old west"y. =]

Over the course of ~25 or 30 years, I progressed from English and show jumping, to Western and Team Penning/sorting. Now, I just trail ride but I'd like to start training for Extreme Cowboy Racing (ala Craig Cameron).

I have a great mix of thought/ideas..Hah

I love the refined beauty and elegance of certain engish sports like Dressage, and the fast, clocked sports like show jumping..It's a hard thing to decide.

I love to just 'hack out' western without having to worry about your seat or legs or anything, but then again those WP shows look like fun, too.

But out of what I do now, I like trail riding on gaited horses :)

Something I'd like to eventually do is endurance riding.. Wow that'd be fun.

I've never shown, but have ridden many different disciplines for my enjoyment and challenge. Have been riding for over 30 years. Would love to enter into the beautiful and challenging world of dressage, and hope to take lessons this fall/winter.

I am a trail rider and love the constant changing scenery and the different feeling each ride brings. My horses have to be able to take anything that comes our way with calm, sane reactions. Cross anything I ask them, streams, logs, muddy sections, bridges of a wide variety, all sorts of terrain. I am never a "passenger" but always a rider and the leader to my horses. They trust me to keep us safe and I count on them to be obedient and dependable. It's a great partnership!

Western pleasure and horsemanship. I like patterns for one, and I just enjoy the chillness of it all. :)

I love all disciplines...I ride western, english, and dressage. I love trail riding, because it gets you and the horse out of a ring, and keeps both of you fresh.

I also have trained horses to ride bridleless...I think it's awesome when horse and rider can work at such a fine tuned level.

Trail riding because I love to ride in the cool moutains when its 90 degrees its always a lot cooler in the mtns and I can go all day with my horses through lakes and I can go see all the abanded houses of the pioneers and I can travel on the roads built by the early settlers.i love the applalachian mtns!
Id also like to do some cattle work my horse loves to herd stuff but the only thing we have ever herded was my mini horse charlie,we chased him all through the pasture until he decided hed had enough and started to buck.i love any type of riding,id love to learn unusaull types of riding stuff that you don't see at shows or rodeos.like im going to a camp nextweek to llearn trick riding and the mexican art were they sort the meat bulls from the fighting ones with a long cane pole.its more complicated than the way I just put it.i just learned about it when the camp director suggested me to learn it.
