Who Loves To Ride Bareback??

Hello^_^
I was just wondering who els loves to ride barback.
i love riding bareback more than in saddles. the feeling of the horse moving under you.. the feeling of the power when going over jumps.
The addrenillen galloping through a open field.

I do! You would love a treeless saddle! You are so much more connected with the horse. Its the only saddle I will ride Dozer in but mainly I ride with the bareback pad. It's because I'm too lazy to throw a heavy saddle onto an 18hh horse. haha oh well.

I heart bareback riding. That is how I learned to ride. I have grown accustomed to riding with saddle since I broke my gelding 8 months ago, but hopefully, I can get him to like it that way too. Right now, he's very unsure of me on there without a saddle....but we're practicing in our lessons :)

I actually learned to ride bareback and I had amazing balance from it. Learned to grip with my knees to if there was a problem or a blow up. I hope he ends up liking it as well. It's an amazing feeling to connect with them :)

My new girl is unsure of bareback as well; when she was 'broke' I don't think she was ever ridden with that close of contact! Over time, though, I think she will get better; right now, I am just working at getting her comfortable being ridden again (as she had developed some trust issues undersaddle prior to me getting her).

I hope it works out for you as well! In my mind it's just like starting them all over again, so I will be going through the same process of starting with someone leading us and then once he's comfortable, i'll work on pressure and turns. He should pick it up quickly as its not that much different. Good luck!
