and the winner is.....

Yep! tonight was the night for our riding competition. It was consist of multiple rounds and multiple techniques which have learnt over these 5 months. That includes jumping over the poles too

Right the first step was to trott and canter, then later we had to jump in a sequence over 8 poles under specified time.

We had to do it twice, so off we go.

First guy went and finished off under 1:02sec, then second guy went and finished in 1:02secs, third I went and I finished in 1:16sec.

(Yep I was the slowest!! but hey hang in there..more is coming).

Then second round, first guy was doing well until his horse would not jump over one pole, he tried twice but the horse stayed put and did not jump (have no idea why) hence he was out.
Second guy had the similar problem however in the second try he went over the pole however got a penalty because of his horse would not jump over the pole first time (and he hit one pole while jumping).

Ok third was my turn, I told my horse keep up the pace and we'll win. I don't know if he understood my words however my pace and steady speed made me win the overall competition. I jumped all the poles in time with no mistakes.

I couldn't believe it at first that I WON!! haha

I recieved a 1st prize and a badge. It was amazing, we did take photos but all of them came really bad because the bad light (I wouldn't say the photographer was bad! hahahaha....).

Anyhow, it was great and I would like to Thank God that I have won the competition .

Yeeehaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! hahaha sorry.

hahah Vida it is fine if you haven't won anything. Sometimes its better not to win anything then win everything.
