Work for lessons

    Number of barns around ask for work in exchange for lessons and/or boarding. In fact, some publish that in local horse paper. I'd just go straight and ask. There is always something you and the trainer/owner can work out.

    Not all, but most do. The barn that I ride at does. It is called a working student. The student works for x amount of hours per week, and they get 1 lesson every week.
