She sold me a saddle that didnt fit him, she said she's do some more work on him for me which they never did so I ended up with the green broke horse who is extremely confused about things. Its my fault, I know but sometimes I just wish they could have actually done what they said they would. The only pony club that I could ride at here will refuse to let me ride as they are scared if I fall off I will break the rods in my back and sue them so they kicked me out last year and I got a horse. He was amazing and he was so quiet and he still is quiet but everything I want to do I can't do because he doesnt know how to do it and I don't know how to teach him how to do it.

Wow some friend... I'd never pull a stunt like that.

Aside from that, I think he just needs to be under saddle trained and then he should be back to his sweet ways.. so long as you find somewhere to get lessons. He's just green and unsure is all. Coming back from an injury like that was pretty stressful.

Usually you sign a waiver so you can't sue... weird pony club o_O Keep on looking, there's gotta be someone willing to help you out!! Even if it's a therapeutic riding center, any kind of riding on a nice broke horse will do you wonders while yours gets a tune up.

Here's a few I found on google. Not sure if this is helpful but I figured I'd give it a shot for ya

So he is green, confused and prone to buck, and you are a fairly green rider? And you already have rods in your back. Honestly, I've been to a similar place as you. You can a) sell, or b)get some serious training for him and lessons for you.

As I said I lean towards selling, I have several old injuries and a horse that was a cronic bucker and shattered my confidence and left me with bruising, concussions, whiplash and back troubles. There are horses out there that have more miles, and don't buck that you would be safer and have more fun on.

Other wise find a great trainer, get miles put on him and spend lots of time with the trainer taking lessons.

Yearling
I have decided its probably best to sell him. Im not exactly a green rider but yes, my confidence is gone, especially just around his back legs which used to be fine now I can even do the back part of his rug up without stressing so I think its best to sell him. My aggistment friends have offered to tell their friends theres a project horse up for sale and keep an eye out for an older quieter horse for me. I think this is the best thing though its going to break my heart to give this guy up, I don't think its going to work out...
