Thankyou I think he is having trouble with it and he hasnt been cantered for quite a while now and yes he's defiently green. I find it frustrating as I'm pretty sure my friend, who owned him only sold him to me to get rid of him. She sold me a saddle that didnt fit him, she said she's do some more work on him for me which they never did so I ended up with the green broke horse who is extremely confused about things. Its my fault, I know but sometimes I just wish they could have actually done what they said they would. The only pony club that I could ride at here will refuse to let me ride as they are scared if I fall off I will break the rods in my back and sue them so they kicked me out last year and I got a horse. He was amazing and he was so quiet and he still is quiet but everything I want to do I can't do because he doesnt know how to do it and I don't know how to teach him how to do it.
Wow some friend... I'd never pull a stunt like that.
Aside from that, I think he just needs to be under saddle trained and then he should be back to his sweet ways.. so long as you find somewhere to get lessons. He's just green and unsure is all. Coming back from an injury like that was pretty stressful.
Usually you sign a waiver so you can't sue... weird pony club o_O Keep on looking, there's gotta be someone willing to help you out!! Even if it's a therapeutic riding center, any kind of riding on a nice broke horse will do you wonders while yours gets a tune up.
Here's a few I found on google. Not sure if this is helpful but I figured I'd give it a shot for ya
