Bummer i hate those kinds of falls. My suggestion (i'm not a pill person) is to get up get out of the PJs and go for a walk. it will release endorphins and get the blood flowing and your day started. You will be out of bed and slightly more distracted than lying in bed rolling around going "it hurts".
I would also do a quick examination to make sure i didn't break something. Follow each rib, does it feel normal, does it hurt, dip down, stick out a little further? push down on both sides of the rib cage does anything hurt? take a deep breath. Abdomen, imagen a "+" sign that goes through your belly button. Push down and release in each quaderant (upper left, upper right, etc) does anything hurt, is it tender, is it harder than the other quadrents, is anything different. visually inspect everything use a mirror. any bruising, redness, swelling, cuts, abrasions? Have you been sick to your stomach? thrown up? if so was their blood? how about the other end, blood in urine? blood in the fecal matter presents it's self as redish looking like blood, or it could look dark and tar like. if it is dark and tar like it is damage further up your digestive system. all of this is signs of not just being sore and if any of this presents you should see a doctor just to get it checked out. except maybe the abrasions or small bruise. the best preventative measure is to know your body and what is normal.
