Would this be weird?

Cinder has been here two weeks now and I really want to get started. I've already noticed some ground manners we need to work on and some other things. I don't have the level ground I need for a round pen (though hubby has been wanting a project . . .) but there are horse folks up and down my road and a couple very close with pens.

I want to ask them if I can use their pen a few times a week. I'd offer to pay and clean up after myself, of course. Would it be weird of me to approach these people with this? Would you ask if you were in my situation?

I don't think it would be weird, I would ask. Couldn't hurt.

I agree, I don't think it's weird either. I would be willing to let someone borrow my pen if they needed it.

I'd be willing to let someone borrow mine, especially if they paid me lol!

In you're situation, it wouldn't be weird and I would ask too. If someone wanted to use one that I had, I'd sure let them!

You might offer to sign a waiver of liability, if there is any possibility that they have such concerns. I know I would want you to sign such if it were my round pen, then I would be delighted to have you use it. Wish I had a round pen!

Nah, if you paid them gosh I would let you ride too. My friend near me, I mine near I ride ride over there on a horse. I felt like asking them but there are never home or no a good time. Lol my luck.

Sure I'd definitely sign a liability waiver. I know if I had the facilities and someone needed/wanted to use them I'd be happy to but then I can be a bit of a pushover so I didn't know if it would be ok to ask someone else.
