Maybe your group could move to another time/day? I would also mention that to the instructor.

WIth regards to riding in the rain-that's fine if I am using the BO's saddle, etc, and she is the one making me go out there. If it is my stuff-not happening. Nope-no way.

If I were you-I would be keeping my eyes out for another yard-maybe the instructor teaches elsewhere too?
