I'm in the market for some Ariat field boots and I'm wondering what height I would need? I measured my calf from the floor to the back of my knee and it was 16.5 inches. According to the Ariat measurement chart the smallest field boots have a height of 17 3/4 inches for my size 9 feet.
Would the 17 3/4 be the ideal height or would I be better off going up one size higher to the 18 1/2? I've Googled and found mixed opinions, some people say their Ariat Heritage field boots dropped over an inch while others say less than an inch.
