Yard jods simply because I am very very hard on jods. I wear them day in day out untill they litteraly fall apart on me. Hence I don't buy expensive pairs. (I used to ride up to 8 horses a day!)

Yard boots, I seem to be getting a new pair every 2years as mine wear out to the point that not even the best cobbler can resurrect them

Yard jacket I will buy once every 5 years or so as my previous one wears out or gets too badly stained.

Show jods well I've had my current set (cavaletti Show breeches cost a fortune) for 2 years and they are still perfect. Before that I tended to go through a set a season. Normaly not because they wore out but because I'd get black makeup on them or black hoof varnish that wouldnt come off!
