colors for a english pleasure class

I am just getting back into the show ring after many years off. I found a dark purple jacket and black breeches.Would this be fine for club, fair shows for the english pleasure class and hunter hack? Thanks

But IMO a navy jacket and cream breachers is by far the way to go. :)

I don't think black breeches would be appropriate for anything but schooling, but I am rather traditional and conservative when it comes to show clothing.

Buff, gray or cream breeches with a navy, gray, black or subtly pinstriped jacket are your safest bets.

Okey I understand with the breeches.Here is the color of the jacket.

I would stick with traditional colours.
The only time I see coloured jackets and breechers/jods is on the little kids

I think your jacket would be very nice but not the black breeches. You want one "focus point" on your outfit. I would wear tan/white breeches, your purple coat, and a white or even pale purple shirt. Hope this helps :)
