Colors for showmanship jacket?

I am going to be starting showmanship and I am having trouble finding a color to match my horse and I. Bella is a liver chestnut and I have relatively fair skin. Ideally I want black with another color, but I have no clue what to do. So far I have been told I could do turquoise, royal blue, red, pink, kelly green, purple, or lemon yellow. Help please?

I really like turquoise, royal blue or purple.

I understand some are OUTRAGEOUSLY priced but they are good ideas

Show her in a neutral color - like sand or chocolate. It'll go with everything.

That helps a bunch. Another question if I may. For the hat what is the ideal height for the crown(?)?

-tilts head- ... The crown?? ... Do you mean the collar? O_O

I don't like a crown about 4" or it looks funny on my head.

For a true Showmanship Jacket, look for something without cuffs. If you are looking for an all-day top that you can wear for in hand plus riding classes, look for something with removeable cuffs so you can leave them off for Halter and Showmanship and add them for your riding classes. Some of the Open shows don't give you much time to change, so removeable gives you a great option for all day with no need to change shirts.
