Height of Western Boots

So, I finally gave up duct taping my Durango's & need to get a new pair. I am 5'8 and wear jeans with a 36" inseam (thank you men's dept.!!). Wearing those 11" tall boots, my jeans ride up to the top of the boot - I'm always pulling them down because it just a pet peeve & really bugs me. Tucking them into the boot doesn't good look on me (size 11). I tried the elastic with clips made for that, but they only work for a few rides- (even tried the clips used to keep the sheet tucked in on a bed)...I have to buy new boots. Anyone have an opinion on the shaft height ? P.S. It does it with my old packer's too...

You can try taller boots, but it sounds like you need a longer inseam for riding.
