helmets for schooling shows?

keep in mind guys I haven't shown in about 6 years, so I'm not an idiot, just out of the loop a little.

Due to a recent fall I need to purchase a new helmet. I've been looking at GPAs. Particularly the GPA pro series (or something of that effect?). Is there any sort of helmet that I would not be able to wear to shows? I'd just be doing schooling shows for this season, likely just flat classes our first season as my mare is young. I may throw in some hunters or something here or there. So I guess what's the most commonly seen helmet for showing now a days? I'd really like something that I could use into the 2013 season as well if we move up a level. And is there anything I couldn't use (specifically talking about GPAs).?

Thanks =)

You can use any helmet that carries the right certification.

Troxel, GPA, IH, Charles Owen etc etc.

Hunters still usually have a velvet helmet, although I have seen some people without them.
