Yes, I think the hairnet may do it. I'll go buy one.
Bluebird, Nice excuse to go shopping! But who needs an excuse, LOL.
I almost never wore a helmet in 25 years. But I've boarded my horse the last 3 years and they had a rule if under 16, you must wear a helmet. So here I am riding with these young teens with these helmets, and I thought, if I'm an adult, shouldn't I be setting an example? So I started wearing one. Needless to say, I went thru a spooky phase with my mare and got dumped about 5 times and once hit my head so hard that I was dizzy and nauseaus for 2 days-with the helmet on!
So, as ugly as it is, we need to wear them. And I'm glad that some of the Olympic riders (like UK's Dressage winner) choose to wear helmets and set an example for younger riders.
But, it's really hard to get that vision out of my head of riding with long flowing hair.........
