Help With Western Pleasure Outfit

Hey guys. So my friends and I are planning on showing in plain solid button down Oxford style shirts in all the western events at a 2-Judge APHA show this weekend (Aug 6-7). So I need some help, where can I find a Oxford style shirt in your basic mall type stores? Also, where can I get a scarf like the guys where?

Here are some examples of the shirt types that I'm looking for.
This pic has the scarf like what I want -

I like the looser style of the last pic the best, and would like to have mine styled similar. So if you guys could help out that would be so wonderful. Thanks so much!!

I can't help you with the shirts, but you can order the scarves from Rods Western Wear ( I saw the girl in the black shirt (first picture) at the APHA Junior Worlds and it was very refreshing to see a very simple, classy outfit without all the bling. She ended up winning her class.

I'm a bit of a fan of the look. It makes the focus entirely on the horse and doesn't cost thousands!! I love it. Best place I can think of for shirts like that would be Express. They have awesome oxford style shirts that are a bit more fitted. They just have to fit right in the show ring if you aren't going flashy. Macy's is good for scarves if you don't have time to order one from Rods (though theirs is the best in my opinion). Good luck this weekend!

Thanks guys! I ended up getting a very nice fitted white shirt from Express, and my grandmother is making me a purple scarf to go with a pink, purple, white, and black pad of mine. (I refused to wear pink, I can't stand pink but somehow all my shirts have pink, lol) I plan on getting a few different colored scarves cause I have 3 or 4 different pads I can wear the shirt with.

Yea, I really like the trend too. I was at the Paint Worlds and got to see all of the girls pictured win their World Titles in those shirts and it is refreshing. Plus the look is so versitile (sp?) all you have to do is change the pad and scarf and you have a new look! Plus you can get a shirt for like $40 - $60 as opposed to the show jackets that cost in the thousands! We just dropped $2000 on a super fancy jacket that I want to last for a few years, so this is great for the smaller shows.

The clothes are getting toned down yet the saddles keep getting more armor added to them. Would you believe when I first started showing our brown tack was fine, colored jeans, a nice long sleeved shirt and a western hat and boots filled the bill. We just needed to look like everything including the horse had just come from the dry cleaners.
