Just a question about show attire

I had a couple of questions. I have a navy hunt coat its a Foxwood MFG and I was just wondering if that is a good brand of coat? And my other question i'll have to add pics later but this summer i'm going to be showing in a lot of local draft shows. Its nothing serious and its not for points but i'd still like to look nice (though I am supposed to maybe go to a couple big shows like the meadville haflinger show, KILE, and Ohio State). I have a lighter chestnut haffie and that's who I hope to be showing saddle seat if I can. So I have 3 saddle seat jackets: A red and green like plaid, a Navy with pinstripes and a grey with pinstripes. Which would look best on her? And if all goes well and our family friend keeps him for show season this summer i'll hopefully be showing in a black percheron gelding as well...which one would look best on him? Its not a huge thing but I thought i'd get some input. I will post pics as soon as I can

Brand doesn't matter but fit does. Make sure the coat fits and if it doesn't fit well get it tailored (if its too big) seriously will cost less then 10 bucks, but a well fitted coat will make you look super expensive and impressive :).


Navy is always in style. ALWAYS. I'd have to see a picture of the red/green plaid, doesn't sound show ring acceptable though.

The grey should also look good.

It came with the whole set of other coats. We got three coats, two vests three pairs of pants(two grey and one navy blue) all for like 300 and the girl rode saddleseat at shows. But I do think it may have been custom made.? Idk I saw a girl wear all red once. And she also had a pink one too! She rode on a dapple grey percheron to boot. The hunt coat fits pretty well I was just wondering on it. Yeah that is true. I'll try and get pics up tomorrow.
