Knee Patch vs Full Seat?

I find that my gatsby breeches lasted longer then my devon-aire. I LOVE my gatsby breeches and only $20 about. I suggest them though they don't have any fun colors ;P

Hmm I guess I'll check those out. Do you know of any stores I could buy/look at them online?

They are a little more than what I paid but I got mine on ebay. I love them though! Got a hole in the crotch after a year but easy enough to sew and not even be able to tell :) And that was a year of hard riding every day at least once practically.

I personally love Kerrits pull on tights, and I love Ovation's as well. I wear alot of pull on tights, I save my breeches for HT's when I am showing and compeating - but I find that the pull on's are comfortable, less restricting and I don't feel awkward in them.

I am with MIEventer...I find that the knee patch breeches fit me a lot better then what full seat do. Around here, all the hunters wear knee patches, jumpers might wear full seat. One of the ladies that I fox (drag) hunt with rides in full breeches because she is still a new rider and feels more secure in them....but she managed to find a pair that had a slight gap between the full seat fabric from the butt and the leg, so that they fit her better then what a true full seat would.

I've always liked the knee patch much more then the full seat!

I LOVE my full seats!! I wear them on the cross country course and in stadium jumping as well...(so no, I don't do hunters) They give me a little more security when we're running around on a course ;) hehe

I love Kerritts!! They're so comfy, especially because I found a low rise pair!

I wore out the butts in my knee patch breeches, so I got full seat-- but I can NOT mount with them! Not enough give! So when I wear them I HAVE to use a mounting block--just something to consider if you trail ride. (Um, I admit I could lose some weight too...)

I have a pair of irideon full seats that I do cross country in and I mount my pony from the ground all the time in them...I think it must depend on the breeches :)
