    Not sure if you have access, but Tredstep half chaps are less expensive than Ariats but have a nice clean, trim cut line and are quite attractive. I have never owned their half chaps, but Tredstep's boots are absolutely lovely, so I would expect their half chaps to be well made also.

    Yes I did have a look at Tredstep but it's very hard buying online as I can't try them on or feel the quality of the leather. Thanks anyways!

    Completely understand. I think their sizing tends to run a bit funny, too, so I wouldn't recommend buying them without being able to try some on anyhow.

    Definitely go for Ariat, I have always had good luck with them.

    Well guys, I've bought my gaiters today, I Bought the Ariat Covington Chaps with the Zip up boots from Ariat. Couldn't be more pleased.
