Men's Hunter Jumper Attire, advice needed

So, I recently picked up an english jumping saddle for a steal, and have really thought about trying my hand at english riding, seriously. My issue, is that I have no idea what attire or apparel is necessary for hunter jumper shows and such. Does anyone know of any affordable places to get it? There isn't anything locally.

So far, what I have gathered (correct me if I am wrong) is that I will need breeches, a polo, helmet, and halfchaps/tall boots. Am I missing anything?

How do you size half chaps and breeches?

Thanks!
Ethan.

Sounds like you have a good start. Check the rules and regulations for your local shows as far as dress is concerned. Some small shows will allow you to wear polo shirts but others require show shirts and hunt coats. If you can afford an inexpensive pair of tall boots I would get them instead of half chaps with paddock boots. You can always school in your cowboy boots and tall boots look very professional in the ring.
I think that it's going to be difficult for you to buy online and make sure everything fits correctly but don't be afraid to order and then have to send something back to get a better size. I personally like Stateline Tack. The prices are reasonable and they're pretty willing to work with you.
For sizing half chaps and breeches, if you're online and go to order something there is usually a sizing chart that tells you the exact measurements of the item.
Also, I think that a nice leather belt is a great touch.
I hope you post pictures of you and your horse all decked out in your English attire!
