Plaid in the hunter ring?

Hi Im new to showing and I was wondering if a plaid jacket would be inapropriate attire. (I have a feeling it is but just double checking) They would be very small shows.
Here are some pictures of it..

It should be okay.

When I first looked at the title, I was think scottish terrier/golfer plaid! But that would actually look great, I'd wear any sort of nice calm colour with a blending pattern as long as it looked good but traditional.

Like a white blouse and beige pants?

Green Broke
It's on the verge of loud, but not bad. These days people have been getting louder! Beige pants. Doesn't have to be a white shirt, but I would go solid. And make sure the shirt color compliments the colors in the coat.
