Please help with our show colors :)

I really want Vinnie and myself to have a signature look in the showring. The holidays are coming up as well as clothing/tack sales at my favorite places so I need to decide on show colors for us :)

We will be showing in WP for now, but I hope to eventually move on to reining & cowhorse. Here is a photo of him under saddle (not me riding, lol).

Anyway, I need a color that isn't TOO glaring, I do want something clean that looks sophisticated, but stands out at the same time. Think elite :) Oh, and not some rare color, becuase I'm actually going to have to find stuff that matches :p Oh, and if you want to recommend a dark or light leather for saddle/bridle that's good too :)

You said not too glaring but before I read that I thought, wow, neon colors would look stunning on this horse! Very gorgeous horse.

Lighter colors like green, yellow. Even red might look nice. White would really stand out but a nightmare to keep clean.

Thanks! I know I considered neons against his dark but I'm thinking it may look to immature? I can't think of the right word. Lol.

Oooh I'm really liking the sound of yellow. Probably more of a pastel so we don't look like a bumblebee :) I think white would break him up too much? Like maybe too much contrast. Like you said though, it'd be a chore!

If I could find neon colors for my 2200 lbs. Moose, I'd be ALL over that!!! But, sadly I'm resigned to boring colors.

But I think yellow would be really cool.

Red would look pretty sharp too :)

Yeah he's got that dark mahogany sort of tone, I think red would match well.

How about teal???...i have 2 teal saddle pads but haven't tried them on my dark mare yet but figured it would go with every thing

I've seen pink on a horse just like that and it looked really good!
