Questions about Show Clothes?

Hi everybody, I have a few questions about some of my clothing for specific events. First of all, I want to know if everything looks good, and if it's appropriate for the classes I'm showing in.

My halter/showmanship class outfit is the white jacket with my black pants.

Western pleasure is black sparkly slinky with black chaps

Trail outfit is red slinky/purple slinky(see if I have any pictures of it on here lol)

I know for my wp outfit I desperately need to get the sleeves hemmed and fitted more.

I would not hem the sleeves as they don't appear to be too long to me. My daughter does always have on black riding gloves and they do seem to really finish off the look no matter what class she is showing in. I want to show her your pictures as I have always wanted her to put red on her paint and she said no, it wouldn't look good but I like it!

You need to get your hat creased sharper and in style.

Wearing black chaps would also polish the look.

I also wish your pants had more of a straight leg or boot-cut, they seem to be really slim fitting through the calf and over your boot, and it looks awkward.

And I would do a mane like this if you're showing a long mane:

But lookin' good :) cute painty pie.

Really? They seemed a bit baggy when I wore it but nothing too horrible. I love wearing red when I'm riding Reign, I think it really makes her colour pop!
I probably should've added I do own black chaps and wear them while I'm showing. Both of these pictures were taken before I was about to go in and warm up Reign.
Normally I just wear plain dress pants that are pretty loose fitting but I couldn't find them and was glad to have black pants. Is it okay to wear dress pants or do I need to get something specially made to ride in?
I'm too attatched to Reign's mane to cut it all off lol so I'll definitely try that one next time I go out! It looks really pretty!

Also, for halter/showmanship, I'd fit his halter better. Having the nose band up higher and more fitting will make his head appear smaller, which is desirable in halter.

there in the midst of sacred pollen hidden, all hidden he; how joyous his neigh

Gloves and boot cut jeans, especially for the bottom picture.

You and your horse look really pretty. Very nice.
