Safety Vest Info & Recommendations Please

I'd like to buy a safety vest so I can start riding again and lessen my worry about doing so without insurance coverage.

Does anyone here give me some advice on them? What brand do you have? What style? How do you like it? Have you actually fallen while wearing it? Pros? Cons?

I'd really appreciate the advice as I know they are expensive and its something I don't feel comfortable cutting corners on. Money is very tight for me so I want to make sure I make the wisest choice before I purchase.

Thank you!

I wear a safety vest whenever I ride. Mine is very comfortable, can't even feel it when I ride. I've fallen off once without it (before I started using it) and twice with. All were minor falls, but the vest definitely minimizes bruises and sore spots. I'm not sure about the brand, but I'll check.

Rule #1 when riding: KEEP THE HORSE UNDER YOU AT ALL TIMES.
