Schooling show attire

I'm going to a schooling show in April, and I was wondering if I should wear a belt with my breeches. I'll be wearing a polo shirt tucked in.

If you're wearing breeches with belt loops, you need a belt with them.

Honestly, that's true of ANY trousers or pants that you may wear. Jeans are the only exception.

And even then for me, I only wear trousers/jeans without a belt when I am home. When I step out I wear a belt if my trou have belt loops.

Too many years in the military to do it any other way......

Even schooling show judges appreciate the neatness of a rider. Show your pride in yourself and your horse...put the belt on and be neat in all otherways (hair, clean boots, all keepers tucked in....)

Yes, wear the belt. It will look much neater.
