Trending: jeans tucked into cowboy boots?

I've noticed this a bunch lately, in photos in horse magazines, etc. Retro to the 50's! Who's started tucking their jeans into their boots?

I will never on this green earth tuck my pants into my boots......ack! Trending or not......it STILL LOOKS BAD! Just like low rise jeans (which are perfect for lengthening the waist and shortening the butt!) however low rise jeans that add a muffin top and a sneak peek at your thong.....WRONG!

Tucking your pants into your boots.......suitable for GUMBOOTS

The only time my jeans are in my boots is when I'm wearing skinny jeans. Otherwise all that excess material bunches and just feels odd. I wear my boots with anything though, so I can rock basketball shorts and boots if I want to.

In the magazines, are these ads for boots or fashion? If so, they're doing that to show off the boots I bet.

Tucked in jeans does have a practical (but not necessarily aesthetic) side in wet/muddy conditions.
Sharpie and Ray MacDonald like this.

They're not boot ads, just random photos & videos on youtube. For instance, my February issue of "West Coast Horsemen" has for its cover a shot-from-behind pic of a guy with super-fancy tooled & two-toned boots with jeans tucked in.
