What material are most showmanship outfits made out of??

Help! I have been looking and looking for the answer to this! What kind of fabric are most showmanship outfits made out of? Mine seems to be some kind of thick cotton but its somewhat stretchy. My rail shirt is also different then the typical rail shirt as it doesnt stretch. I want to make a new SMS outfit for my little sister so any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated!! There is no specific fabric. You should stick to something that breathes, and doesn't wrinkle easily, though;) My mom has started making the slinky style shirts. Not sure what material it his, but stretchy and cool looking,(probably a certain amount of spandex!) though I'm not fond of them on cool, rainy show days!

My mom makes custom show clothing! She always uses a polyester with a little stretch! Hope this helps
