Thanks :) When you plait don't chop the mane, I roll the ends underneath then sew. I don't plait his tail though I shave it. Usually olny welsh plait there tails. Because my pony is an english riding pony they are supposed to represent a miniture TB. For the small shows I plait with wool because its easyer, but the royals I plait with cotton because it looks better. Have a go though, practise makes perfect!! I have to get my mum to do the make-up because I can't get it even :P hehe

Haha lilruffian Millie is a pretty little girl isn't she? Oh no I didn't plait up this lady you gives me lessons did it, it took her 20 minutes max. She used to work over in England for the Whiteckters (Famous Showjumping family, And also can't spell sorry.
The cow was at the show in the lead class we were getting ready to go for the Grand Parade as I go the most ponits of the day.

Do they need trimmed/pulled manes to plait? Probably that's why both my mares came with short manes lol (ironically I bought them both from english riding stables because their owners thought they'd do better at western??)
*sigh* I wish I still had my mini. He was so gread for experimenting on!

Oh. Here :(

I don't actually ride Western, in case you couldn't tell.

This guy, IIRC< was kinda heavy in the bridle. He has a big neck.... care to guess why? ;)

yeah its best to have a pulled mane. Don't you love the mini's? My friend has one we named her Little miss sunshine and we clipped lightning bolts down to her hocks and hearts on her bumb and... we died her pink! Haha we do all sorts of thing to that pony we also get her to lay on the bed and put the blankets over her..
