Smile Does anyone else have this kind of class in their area?

This is a Pacing class at a local horse show. Anyone else have these classes in their area? Would you ride in one if there could be?

Just curious. :)

I'm too scared to do it myself. I've seen horses collide with each other a lot when the judges ask them to switch directions.

I hate pacing as a gait, so I wouldn't do it. I'd speed-rack, though. ;D

Around here, Walkers and Rackers are asked to STOP, switch your crop if you have one, then go. Not to reverse at a gait. Kills us in command classes that don't appreciate saddleseat. Or they ask 2-gaited horses to canter... *grumble*

What surprised me the most was the screaming crowd. Around here that's a big no-no. Crowd has to be fairly silent "so as not to distract the horses". Still looked like a lot of fun though...

That looks amazing!
