Depends on the breed. When it's a roadster class for hackney ponies or a 5 gaited saddlebred class when the rack on it is very common for the crowd to scream and get the horses going. This video speed was a factor so screaming is the norm.
They are not judging for anything here but showing off how fast your horse can go

Gaited classes in general are rowdy. The actual gaited shows have this creepy classical music-- then the crowd SCREAMING. When I rode, my coach and her family kept calling my number, and when she rode in her classes, I was told to do the same for her.

Lol, I'm not really around gaited stuff, so I never would have known that they are so loud. I think it's nice to have a cheering section that can actually cheer.

Yeah sometimes. I rode this pony one time in a Trail Pleasure class and as we were going at a nice rack she decided to quit on me. Well just as she quit I heard a friend say "LOOK AT THAT PONY JUDGE!!!" and I was just about to absolutely die. Lol

I hate thaaat. I ride the FLATTEST, SLOWEST Walker in existence. She was in heat and being a pain. My coach called my number.. right as Nighty pulled a mega pace.. and then spooked at a bag. I didn't place.
