I wanna see your pretty little show ponies!

Hey countmystrides, what sre those things around your knees in the first pic? I have seen them in american horse shows (in movies like 'Danny') but we don't have them in Australia. Lol

They're called garter straps, for keeping your breeches in place when you're not wearing chaps or tall boots.. Keeps the jod leg from riding up ;]

I thought thye were called garters lol. Just wasnt sure. They look weird lol. In australia we just have jod clips that go under your boots and attach to either side of the bottom of your jods lol

Same in the UK we use jod clips as well, much more effective for jods. If jods are going to ride up then they are going to do it at your ankle not at your knee.

I have garter straps attached to my long boots to keep my breeches from riding up and out from under the long boots. It makes sense when they are attached to long boots but not for short boots.

Yeah I knew what f they were just didnt know they wore them without long boots lol
