Question I want to start showing again.

I use to show back in 2006, I did Barrels,WTC and halter. I want to start back up on showing, but I want to start off with a halter show. I would use my horse bigboy.

He won first place in 2006 halter show when he was 3. He is now 8 and I want to start again. The classes im doing are Western and english halter. What would I need???

He does both English and western.......

Here are some pictures of him (sorry long feet we were getting he's feet done that day and I was taking pics while waiting)

(sorry these were taken with my phone)

For western you need a leather halter, you can get one with lots of bling but that's optional. And a leather lead rope with a chain. You'll need a western hat, western shirt, and just jeans if you're showing locally. For english I'm pretty sure he'll need to be in an english bridle and you'll need to be in English attire. Hope this helps

Western: Good Working halter and Lead. Ideal would be leather with silver, Bling (for open only), and lead with chain. Your attire would be long sleeved shirt, western hat, jeans (but showmanship pants or neat fitted dress pants are even better)
English: Halter is shown in English bridle and you would be dressed in "Hunt" attire .

Hope this helps. Visit our site to ask questions too! We do new patterns every week and a online halter class
