Talking Just starting out

Just starting out in showmanship. I have a clinic on December 2nd and I start lessons after that with the clinician. My first show is in January.

I have never showed in a pinto breed circuit so this is TWO firsts for my horse and I.

Lets discuss fashion in showmanship!
Where can I buy suitable showmanship boots online?

Any leather sole cowboy boot will work.

I prefer square toes, some people like the roper style. Keyes Kreations has taken over from The Boot Lady for custom dyeing boots, or you could learn to do it yourself.

I also prefer square toes. I get old west kids boots from Schneiders. The kids run large, the 5.5 run at my adult 7.5 and they're about $50. They come in black, brown and light tan. They are not the most comfortable and supportive boots I've worn, but they serve their function! I have used the light tan for DIY dying with much success. And you can do it. I have the creativity level of a rock. Ropers are ok too, just no crepe soles!
