Most Colorful?

Is it OK to enter a buckskin or palomino in a 'most colorful' halter class?

I haven't hear of a "most colorful class" but if its just a regular color class then yes a buckskin or palomino is considered colored. Inless the show rules state they must show visiable color meaning they must be a pinto, appy, ect.

It really depends on the shows rules. You'll have to look into them. But most 'Most Colorful' classes I've seen are full of appies, pintos, etc. I've never seen a solid colored horse win, but it could be done.

I've never seen a "most colorful" class.... not sure exactly what that would entail beyond what the name implies... (Thinking of something along the lines of a costume class...)

There are color breed classes, reserved for registered Paints, Pintos, Appies, Palominos, etc. If the show is of any size at all (i.e., not a local schooling show, and such an event probably wouldn't include this class anyway), you'll be required to present a copy of the appropriate registry info for your horse when you enter the class. As long as your horse is registered with a color breed association, you should be fine to enter any class division that describes your horse.
